Today, I want to share with you a very nice story that holds within its bits the meaning of friendship or real friends. Before you start reading this wonderful moral story, please note that we are as muslims already aware of such issues as they have been described and depicted many times and times in the holy Quran....... :) a

Story of Love & Forgiveness

Once upon a time two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an Argument, and one friend slapped the other one on the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying
anything, wrote in the sand:a

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE
FACE .a

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath.a
The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.a
After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:a

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.a

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”a
The other friend replied : ”When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”a

Such a wonderful story

i've read it many times ago

in fact i really do memorize it very well

today morning it jumped on my mind because

of a weird situation i've been through with my bff

and i did the exact thing though it still hurts

sometimes when you do your all to help others

you get shocked at the end in return

this feeling makes you realize that not everyone deserve

to be treated like the way you do

not everyone worth to waste your tears on

but after a while you probably will rethink once again

and remember this quote i've read it somewhere

"give more and expect less"

.just do it for allah and it'll satisfy you somehow
