Finland Culture

Every country has its own traditions and cultures. These cultures represent the country to the outside world. In Finland, people have very unique and different culture. I’m going to talk about their special traditions in doing business.


Finnish people introduce themselves by giving their first and last name as they shake hands. The business meetings tend to be direct and to the point. People in Finland are very punctual so, visitors should arrive at time because arriving late considered impolite. They speak directly and clearly. ‘yes’ means ‘yes’ and ‘no’ means ‘no’ .The safe topics are weather , sport and travel. Long business lunches are no common.


Finally, I would like to say that Finland has a really interesting culture. I’d love to go there and discover more about it.
