A rich pretty american gril meets winter bourne in very winter bourne is charmed by her winter bourne is on american an expatriate to Eourp has lived in Geneval for long his aunt mrs costello refuses to meet her.she says Daisy is uncultivated.winter bourne takes Daisy to chillon castle,atourist cehter.

Winter bourne goes to Rome Daisy also goes to Rome.She meets many people.She also meets Giovanelli,an Italian mrs walkers is very angary at her meeting young people freely winter bourne sees Daisy with Giovanelli at the collosium at night.He is very angry.He dou bts her.How ever,he asks Giovanelli to take her home,the weather there was very load Daisy came to know that winter bourne doubted her.she falls ill and dies.she leaves a message to her mother to deliver to winter bourne.

The message was that Daisy cared what he thought a bout her.winter bourne got the message and was very sorry for waking a great mistake in understanding Daisy.
