Dialect: refers to differences between kinds of language which are differences of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
Eample: Hijazi dialect and Najdi dialect
Accent: refers solely to differences of pronunciation
Eample: American accent and British accent

Can chimps speak like human beings? Explain your answer.


Chimps can not speak because, unlike humans, their vocal cords are located higher in their throats and can not be controlled as well as human vocal cords.
A Chimps was selected as they with human sociability and they developing stages similar to hummans. but attempting to teach spoken english was not encouraging depending the experience of Vikki(Hayes 1951), prior to this o¬ne. Vikki vocabulary after four years was o¬nly four words.
Nothing in the animal kingdom even approximates to human language foe complexity and precision. However, there are initial result strongly suggest that Kanji has not put together a language in the wild or understood spoken humman language.
