In my opinion

Learning English as we took in introduction to linguistics is according to two purposes

First , social communication .and in this case the person doesn't learn syntax ,morphology ,fiction ,,,,and so . he learn spoken English including slang words ,just for communication with people with this language

Second , for other purposes such as having extra degree in his job or majoring in English ,,,and so on . and in this case learning English is sort of academic learning

I think in the first , males r better than female coz they r more outgoing than females , they travel a lot so
they get a big chance to learn English well

In the second , female is better coz we all know that female is better than male in academic studying and she spend more time with her book , so she would learn English better than male

If she/he siezed the only opportunities everyone of them got, then anyone of them will achieve the good level of English no matter what the gender is

and I assume that we r talking about the general English not the one that is concerned in the medical field which has the medical terminologies or the engineering or....etc

well done Conscientious that was perfect answer I guess.. that's true girls are more focused in acadmic English so in contrast they are better in mm let's say in writing and reading.. and it absolutely obvious that u've written ur comant as acadmic letter..

For men ya they learn the usual language as it says in the outside world.

yes u r very true and i believe that as well but it's known there is diffrences between the two ganders.. and that's reflects even in the education.. this is not my opinion, it's a fact

well let's assuem that 100 men and 100 women start study English in same time and it's a challenging between them .. who do u think will win

sir , the answer would be females !!! without any doubt ......why ? it s a scientific truth , that females r more able to learn language than males .. which explains why little girls start talking before boys ..and also why women talk more than men ........... it s all in the brain anatomy , according to the same theory ...males would be more able to learn math comparing with females.......... fair enough ? best of luck ..
