القصيدة الخامسة :

Subject : the poet describe everything he sees around him .
Theme : لايوجد ثيم لهذه القصيدة
Language: is easy to understand and nothing is hidden ,he used some sound devices like alliteration such in line 7" silken scarf "
Line 12 " lies like "

Imagery : the poet used some figurative language like simile for example he said :" crawls like a yellow butterfly" >> comparing the omnibus's soft movement with the butterfly .
And in line 12 "lies like a rod of rippled jade"
Comparing the green river –which referring that the river is probably polluted –with the precious stone "jade" which indicating for his optimistic toward the world .

He also used another type of figurative language which is synsathesia like in line 11" the pale green Thames " and line 5
Yellow hay""

Using colors to make the readers to feel the thing that described

Tone: is optimistic and joyful .

كدليل على تفاؤله نستطيع كتابة الجزء المتعلق بتشبيهه النهر الملوث بالحجر الكريم الاخضر اللون .

Structure : the poem is made of three verses ,four lines in each .with a rhyme scheme abba - cddc- effe ,the poem starts with describing the small thing which is buses and people and then bigger things like barges ,and finally end with the biggest which Is the river which is the sensor of the poem because everything is related to it .
