الاسئلة في ورقة واحده والحل مطلوب على شكل بارقراف بلغة سليمة ومختصرة


1-Why the old man fought the sharks

Santiago fought the shovel-nose sharks because they attacked his marlin and started to eat it. He saw them as villians who deserve to be killed for stealing his noble grand prize and tried to with pleasure but failing eventually.

2-why the english and indian cannot meet?

They could never beet because of the colonialism and the differences between the two cultures

3- How and why did Mrs. Mallard died?

Upon rejoicing by the fact that she is free and live again, the sudden appearance of her -supposed to be dead husband shocked her greatly which resulted in her collapse as her dreams vanished.

4-what were the evidences of Dr. Aziz convection?

Dr. Aziz left Adela and went to smoke in a cave, there was a third person there, the guide, who could serve as a witness and testify supporting Dr. Aziz's Alibi

5- What are the values presented in the short story War?
London criticizes war and governments that send young soldiers to their death. The unnamed young soldier spared the ginger-beard man life who eventually killed the soldier in a kill-or-be-killed war situation.

6-is the play "Waiting for Godot" existentialist and why?

The play is open to many interpretations and existential is one of them. It is evidence that it is not since those two tramps were never forces to wait for Godot, as the boy told them that Godot is not coming. But they volunteerly decide to wait.

7-why the poet traveled to Byzantium?

Yeats traveled to Byzantium to study its civilization and art. He implied that it is a city where a wish of an old man to live eternally can be granted.

8- Why the narrator in "Desert Places" entered the woods?

The narrator in this romantic poem decides that the emptiness of the woods is nothing compared to the loneliness that he feels inside him, and it does not scare him so he enters.

9-Was the modern man in "The Unknown Citizen" happy and free, and why?

The modern man's freedom was crippled by the constant monitoring the organizations put on him. His attitudes were reported scientifically and statistically but not his individuality or feelings. The last two couplets ironically stated that organizations assured his happiness and freedom, whereas if anything was wrong they would have known. This is sadly untrue.

10-Why Raina changed her mind about Sergius?

Initially, Raina's romanticized about war heroes. She believed that she will love Sergius and their arranged marriage will be happy. However, these believes are altered when she realized the true nature of war and knew of the -in cold blood killings that Sergius led. Also she discovered Sirgius flirting with Lauka, the maid. The idealism of her believes changed into a realistic ones. Furthermore she was attracted and maybe fell in love with Captain Bluntschli, the pragmatic good -hearted swiss mercinary.

ملحوضة: السؤال الثامن لست متأكد من حله لاني لم ادرس القصيدة ولكن هذا ماوجدته في الانترنت من تفسير والله اعلم
