Theme : violence and anger of nature especially of storms .

Language : easy and simple to understand , the poetess didn't use sound devices in this poem

Imagery : the poetess used a lot of figurative language in her poem especially personification as in line 1"the wind begun to kneed the grass"
Line 3" he flung a hand full at the plain "
Line 10"the thunders gossiped low "
And she used also simile like in line2 " as women do a dough"
Line 16-17"and then, as if the hands…"

Tone : feeling fear and lonely ,feeling fear of the throwing things that the storm throw in every direction .

Narrator : a woman lives a lone and describes the storm that coming

Structure : free verse ,no rhyme scheme ,no verses ,
Starts with the begin of storm and through ,she describes it and at the end she says that her house is safe .
