what did the poet mean by that ?

Austere means serious and cold. The poet is using a phor that expresses the endurance, suffering and hard work required of long-term love, of manual labor, and of the official fatherly role.



and in the poem of " the wind begun to kneed the grass" the poetess said the yellow head and living toe "
can i say that this image has two figurative language personification +synesthesia ? or we must not join two images together in one sentence ??

. You can use them together because they are both talking about the same thing - the lightning.
