تقرير عن مادة مقدمة في الأدب عند الدكتور سيد احسان



صحيح أني لم أكتب إلا تقرير واحد فقط كان عند الأستاذ عمر باسلامه ولكنه يقراء فقط اما الدكتور سيد احسان كتب لنا ما هو المهم وفعلاً مهم جدا وأذا حفظت وفهمت هذا التقرير قال ان الطالب بأمكانه النجاح وبدرجة عالية ايضاً .

ولكن قبل أن ابداء فكل الذي سوف أدرجه الآن كتبته في المحاظرة وبشكل سرير لاننا بدائنا بكتابة وأنتهت المحاظرة ونحن نكتب وكان عدد الطلاب فقط خمسة طلاب وحرصت أن أكتبة لكي تعم الفائدة للجميع واعذروني اذا فيه اخطأ املائيه فكان الخط غير واضح في السبورة .

فكل ما هو مكتوب مهم جدا وفيه Theme وهو ما تحتويه القصه او الروايه بشكل مختصر
وايضاً Characters الشخصيات

'How much Land Does A Man Need ?"


Theme

Greed disrupts a man's moral character.
* Pahom was leading a peaceful life as a landless labor when he bought a piece of land from a landlady, his relations with his neighbors became bitter and strained.
He had to fight against devil, but he could not.
The wealthier he was, the more he was under the control of the devil.

Pahom went to another commune. He could grow even more crops and have a saving .
Later, he met Bashkers

The devil showed him a chance to get every large piece of land very cheaply.

His effort get a large piece of land in one day's journey shows how greedy he was and how he was controlled by devil
His conflict with devil ands with his death.




" The jewelry "

Irony of life as seen in the jewelry
Irony = irony of words, irony of situation & Dramatic irony

1- people took Latin's wife to be pure woman
She was not a pure as people thought her to be.

2- Latin's salary was not sufficient to meet the household expenses. But the house was maintained very well


3- out word action versus in word thoughts
Daisy acts without his nation. Winterbourne thinks but does not act.

4- Nature versus urbanity, Artificiality . Conflicts between natural response and social customs. Rome tries to finish natural innocence of Daisy.
Daisy faces condemnation and lack of live.


3- If Mr. Lantin had gone with her to the theater, other people would not have flirted with her .

4- Mr.lantin thought that the jewelry was imitation.

5- His wife said that the jewelry was imitation .

6- After the wife death, lantin became rich
He forgot all about his wife's.

7- He married for the second time for happiness, but his life became miserable.



Daisy Miller

Character

Daisy Miller = She is wealthy, spirited, well – meaning, young American girl.
She is shallow and ignorant.
She has no social graces .
She has no conversation gifts such as charm, wit and a talent for quick reply
((give examples from the novel ))


Witerbourne

An American
He lived most of his life in Europe.
He is a Europeanized expatriate .
He is associated with New England Puritanism .
He lives in Genève.
He is a character through whose eyes see and experience everything .
He observes and analyses feminine beauty
He spend time with his aunt, and at tent live to her .
He tries to define Daisy in clear moral terms, but fails.
To him Daisy in a novelty
He is charmed by her look of concern for the social niceties and the rules of propriety of European civilization. These rules were accepted by American in Rome. He tries to save Daisy, but she is morally beyond treatment .

Theme

1- Appearance versus reality
European – American social circle in Europe
Misunderstands the trne character of Daisy

2- Knowledge as evil versus in experience as in innocence .

3- out word action versus in word thoughts
