الشعر المحاظرة الثالثة بالأمس

-Samuel Taylor Coleridge‟s “Kubla Khan”
IN Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.

So twice five miles of fertile ground
With walls and towers were girdled round:
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills
Where blossom'd many an incense-bearing tree;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,

Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.

He's a romantic
A leading figure in the romantic movement in the 19th century
He is important creator of his movement
*Romanticism means :
1.love to nature (garden , trees )
2.passion for the east (the poem described a place in the east
3.living in the world of dreams against realty (the whole poem)
