3-stops, fricatives and affricates are grouped togather under obstrauents

4-nasals , liquids and glides are grouped to gather under sonorants

5-the major class features are {syllabic},{consonantal} and {sonorant},

6-the major consonantal feature is {voiced}only consonants for this feature

7-place features are {coronal} and {onterior} .they are limited consonants

8-manner features are {contiuant} ,{nasal} {strident} {lateral} and {delayed release} .they help us in the making contrast between phoneones

9- vocalic features are high, low ,back ,front round, tnse , advanced tonqe root , the feature high low back round are also applicable to some consonants
