The critic tells the painter that he doesn't like the professional moddling of Mr and Mrs Monarch as they can not convince the critic that they are real monarchs although they lived this life before. They can be real monarch when it comes to paying visits to their homes or in the drawings where they are very hand some but not in professional acting scenes.
