While this saying have some merit on surface

This sentence is quite lateral translation which is most common mistake

however when children spend more than four hours daily on television, then they would probably watch some bad inappropriate scenes such as violence, sex, or they might hear a bad use for language which they would apply it later as a part of their imitation of their loveable characters like Batman or Superman.

These thesis statements are little complicated, pleas see my correction

They would apply that later as a part of their behavior, they do that to imitate their loveable characters, like Batman and Superman
