Pahom start the conflicts when he thought the only trouble is that he hasn't land enough and if he has plenty of land , he shouldn't fear the Devil himself the Devil thought " I will give you land enough , and by mean I will get you into my power.
First Pahom thought, He must buy 20 acres or the life is becoming Impossible . after he had bought 40 acres from the lady the Devil came to Pahom as a peasant and told him about the beyond land . Because the greedy nature of Pahom he decided to go there . He got 225 acres of communal land .and wanted to buy thirteen hundred acres from a peasant at 1500 roubles .

but Pahom changed his mind . Because the Devil came back to him as a dealer and told him a bout the Bashkirs land (can get thirteen thousand only at 1000 roubles ). Because the greedy nature he decided to go there. Finally , Pahom lost his life and all he needed was six feet form his head to his heals .
