Advantages & Disadvantages of E-mail


There are many advantages and disadvantages of using e-mail. One of the advantages is that e-mail is an effective means of communication. We can send emails any time during the day or night. We can attach large documents and other files with a click of a button without using up resources like paper. It's good for the environment. Email can deliver information quickly to many people at a time.
On the other hand, email has some disadvantages. It can become time consuming for replying to a lot of emails. Some misunderstandings can arise because of cultural differences. So we should follow the netiquette of using email. It can be bad for our eyes if we spend too long sending e-mails on our computers. Some misunderstandings may happen when pressing the wrong button. Writing emails when being angry is considered rude. Email is a popular way of sending messages. However, we should be careful when using it as it has advantages and disadvantages.
