use the present progressive (sometimes called the present continus) to talke about action that is happening now (at the time you are speaking) .
يستخدم الفعل المضارع المستمر للتعبير عن الافعال التي تحدث الان

Right now,the swimmers are jumping in the water

to form the present progressive in afifirmative setence to be(am,is,aer)+ base formof the verb + ing
لتكوين الجمله المثبيه في فعل المضارع المستمر
(الفعل verb to be"ame,is,are( + مصدر الفعل +ing

I am working

He,sheit is working

use contractions when usingthe present progressive in speech or informal writing
نستخدم الصيغة المختصره contractions مع المضارع المستمر في المحادثه والكتابه غير الرسميه

قواعد اضافيهingفي المضارع المستمر
ruls for adding"ing
*when a verb ends in a silent e, drop the before adding-ing
الفعل الذي ينتهي الحرف الصامت "e" نحذفه ونضيف ing

skate=skating

*when a one-syllable verb end in a consonant,,a vowel,and a consonant(CVC , double the last consnant before adding-ing
الفعل ذو المقطع الواحد الذي ينتهي بحرف ساكن وقبلها حرف عله يتم تضعيف الحرف الاخير

Run=running

*exception last consonant is w,x,ory
باستثناء الحروف ( w,x,ory) اذا جاءت في اخر الفعل وقبلها حرف ساكن فلا يتم تضعيف الحرف الاخير

تكوين الاسئلة في المضارع المستمر تبدأ الجمله بالفعل verb to be+ الفاعلsubject+الفعل مضاف اليه ing
