The media is the power of influence on human behavior and play a significant role in the life of the individual and society. For example , the media messages about body shape and size will affect the way we feel about our bodies and ourselves .Also, the media uses its influence on children to market items and influence what children desire making them think that they need certain items to be popular or cool. As a result , children influence their parents to buy them things the media has portrayed as "cool". The media generally affects our thinking and our behavior mostly in a negative way, so we should take care and be aware of what we watch
